USE THIS FOOD TO STOP DRINKING AND WANTING ALCOHOL

While scientific research has yet to verify the potential of Vitamin B3 (niacin) in reducing a person’s craving for alcohol, anecdotal evidence suggests that it may really work. Some experts theorize that niacin may work by “freeing” toxic substances which are stored in fatty tissues. The toxins are then propelled in perspiration, generated by strenuous exercise and/or extended saunas. Other anecdotal evidence indicates that niacin supplements, in the form of nicotinic acid, can significantly reduce the craving for alcohol (and drugs) among many people who are addicted to those substances.

While anecdotal evidence is by no means conclusive, scientific research into the possible benefits of Vitamin B3 in reducing cravings for alcohol continue, and could reveal some encouraging results in the near future.

Good dietary sources of niacin include fish, lean meats, and poultry.
